This contest is open to everyone. You do not need to be a Colorado resident
​nor an NLAPW member to submit. Men and teens are welcome.

All genres are encouraged, but no poetry. Multiple submissions are acceptable.

We challenge writers to tell a complete short story using no more than one hundred words. Entries MUST be narrative in form and pertain to this year’s theme:

Entry fee is $15 for the first submission and $10 for subsequent submissions. There is an extra $15 for each requested critique, written by a published author.
